Streamlining the design process…

As one of the architects for the City College of San Francisco’s new Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, & Math (STEAM) Building we faced the challenge incorporating stakeholder’s input into our design.

Mural served as a digital whiteboard for users to write comments and propose changes as needed.

Our process:

• Upload floor plans & elevations

• Create a “kit of parts” for equipment, furniture, counters, and storage for users to move around like a dollhouse

• User color coding to indicate programmatic elements.

• Provide users the ability to leave comments
